So, after an undesired trip to Costco this afternoon, where all 3 boys were on their absolute worst behavior, I told them all they had "earned" an hour of quiet time on their beds while Jared took his nap.
After all were in said beds (Jared screaming his brains out because he doesn't want to take a nap!), I sat down at the computer to check email, and with some other major stresses on the brain started to say a little prayer. Of course Tyler decided his quiet time was over and came out and started asking me a bunch of questions. When I replied (mid prayer) that it was still quiet time regardless of his new found desire to "listen", he needed to be quiet because I was trying to say a prayer. He then replied, "to not be like Ms. Trunchbowl?" Not even with an ounce of joking in his voice.
So for today, my mom status is "Ms. Trunchbowl". Awesome. And honestly, they deserve Ms Trunchbowl today!!
